Tape2Tape are a local company that organise running events in Lincolnshire.
The company is based in Cleethorpes and is run by Nicola and Neil Pattison. Two very friendly people that are passionate about creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all their participants while competing in any of the events.
They are clearly very popular echoed by the massive turnouts to the events that we have covered for them.

Pegasus Drone Media have gained a great working relationship with Nicola and Neil and we have now covered three of their events.

More information on any of the events can be found at the Tape2Tape website.

ABP Humber coastal half marathon
ABP Humber Half Marathon, Cleethorpes
Pre Race Overview

Pegasus Drone Media was asked if we could help out by providing aerial footage of the course. Of course we said yes (we even did it for free) This is a first for the Lincolnshire area so we was glad we could help out for this event.
The race starts and finishes on Central Promenade in Cleethorpes with fabulous coastal views along The Humber and out to sea.
The first 2 miles are based entirely along the coast, where runners can see for miles around.
A quick trip through Thorpe Park holiday Park will then see runners enter South Sea Lane and head out to the A1031, which will have a full road closure in place for your safety.
The race then turns left towards Tetney Lock, along very quiet country lanes and onto a lovely trail heading back towards the holiday parks.
A return route along the sea front and onto the promenade where thousands of spectators will cheer you underneath the finish arch.

ABP Humber Half Marathon, Cleethorpes
Race Footage

So the half marathon took place on 3rd September 2017 and Pegasus Drone Media was asked to go back and record some aerial footage of the actual race. Tape2Tape (the organisers) were so pleased with the pre race overview project that we did they didn't hesitate to ask us back.
Neil and Nicola the founders of Tape2Tape said in a recent email
"Thank you ever so much for all you have done for the event. The footage and compilation are first class and I see we will be heading towards 1000 hits very soon, which is amazing. You should quite rightly be proud of what you have done. I will be happy to recommend you to anyone who asks about your services"
During that email Neil asked if we would be happy to capture the next raceday they have organised which is a 10k and another half marathon in October 2017.

Gruesome Twosome 10K & Half Marathon

October 14th 2017 saw the annual event of the Gruesome Twosome. This is held in Swallow Nr Grimsby in the Lincolnshire Wolds and is held over fields and roads. 90% of both runs are over fields and is quite challenging. The half marathon enters woodland around 10 minutes from the start and then heads out to Rothwell village before heading back through Cuxwold for a short road run which eventually leads (yes you've guessed it) to more fields.
Both events finish back in swallow in a local park where you receive a drink, sausage roll and the coveted Gruesome Twosome beanie hat.

Below you will find the shortened version of the filming on the day (the long version is also on out YouTube channel)

 Cleethorpes Santa Stride

December  17th 2017 saw the annual event of the Cleethorpes Santa Stride again organised by Tape2Tape. Nicola asked Pegasus Drone Media to again film the event, of course we said yes, this looked like it was going to be a lot of fun and we were not wrong. Everybody was smiling and really getting into the Christmas spirit.

Unfortunately 10 minutes after take off the weather decided to do the one thing that's guaranteed to ground the drone....yep you guessed it, rain.

We still managed to get enough footage from the air though to show off this great event.
